Every new account starts on the Free plan with a monthly AI credit allowance — no card, no time limit. Upgrading to Pro or Pro+ is a choice you make when you want it, and you can switch or cancel anytime; changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Q: Does yearly billing save money?

Yes, substantially. Pro yearly is $99 instead of $180 paid monthly — 45% off, a saving of $81. Pro Plus yearly is $149 instead of $324 — 54% off, a saving of $175.

Q: Can I switch or cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel whenever you like; changes apply at the start of your next billing cycle.

2What are AI credits, and do they reset every month?

AI credits power the AI features — speaking practice, tutor chat, roleplay and writing feedback. On paid plans you get a fresh grant every month: Pro includes 1,500 AI credits per month and Pro Plus 12,000. Unused credits carry over, so they add up rather than expire. Free is topped up to 300 credits a month — a monthly ceiling rather than a running total, so it refills rather than accumulating — and you can top up anytime.

3What's the difference between Pro and Pro Plus?

Pro ($15/mo or $99/yr) unlocks all HSK 1–9 lessons plus the beginner modules (Survival, Everyday, WeChat) and includes 1,500 AI credits every month. Pro Plus ($27/mo or $149/yr) adds the full advanced module library (Business, Diplomatic, Tech, Tourism, Academic, Media), includes 12,000 AI credits every month — four times the allowance — and adds a priority generation queue and early access to new modules. On both plans you receive that allowance every billing cycle, and unused credits carry over.
