Yes. Each student holds one of two seats. A curriculum seat is everything — HSK 1–9 lessons, the career modules and the full Learning Lab — priced on the scale above. A platform seat is $3 a month ($30 a year): the Teaching Board, classes, homework and the Learning Lab, without the lessons or AI. Platform students still see everything their teacher presents in a live lesson. You move students between seats from the Students tab whenever you like.

The Starter pack: $29 a month per teacher seat ($290 a year), for 1 to 3 teachers and up to 50 students. Students join free on platform seats; link each child to a parent, and families who want the full curriculum add it with their own Family plan — or the school buys curriculum seats for any student at $8 a month. It includes 1,000 AI credits a month per teacher, shared by the school. Outgrow it and you move to the School plan from your billing panel.

Yes, any time, from your billing panel: up or down, prorated to the day. You cannot go below the students you actually have, and if more students join than your plan covers, nobody is turned away — you get a notice and can add them. A term you prepaid keeps its seats for the term; set new numbers when you prepay the next one, or contact us mid-term.

Monthly billing has a minimum term you choose: 6 or 12 months, at the same price. When it ends you continue month to month — cancel any month — unless you choose to renew for another term. We email you 30 days before it ends. Annual billing is a year at a time.

It is optional — the curriculum, assignments and analytics never need it. Your school has one shared balance of AI credits, which your teachers and your curriculum-seat students draw on once their own credits run out; platform seats don't use AI. Top it up with a one-time pack (10k for $25 · 50k for $110 · 200k for $400), by card or Alipay, and set a monthly limit per student so no one student uses it all. Your billing panel shows what was used, by feature and by member — never what anyone asked. Every new school starts with a small welcome balance.

Yes. The Managed Curriculum Pilot is an 8-week guided implementation for one cohort of up to 100 students ($999 once); the full scope is in the pilot section above. You can buy it straight from the calculator. Paid billing starts only when the pilot ends, and the whole $999 is credited to your plan's invoices.

Your institution's data is yours. Student logins are created under guardian consent where applicable and handled in line with PDPA. You control your roster and can export or remove it.

No. Everything is on one school bill — each student is licensed on your plan, and teachers and admins are seats on it. On the Starter pack, a family may choose to buy its own Family plan for the full curriculum at home; nobody has to.

Yes. Invite each student's parent from the Students tab, or add a "Parent email" column to your import. The parent confirms they are the child's parent or legal guardian, and their account is linked to the child's: they see the Learning Lab's view of their child and get a short update each week. An adult student cannot be linked to anyone, and the school can remove a link it made.

Alipay, yes: prepay 6 or 12 months up front, by card or Alipay, and your plan draws on that payment — we remind you 30 days before it ends. AI packs can be paid with Alipay too. WeChat Pay and bank transfer are by invoice: contact us.

Yes. Choose "look around first" when you set up your school and you get a free workspace — no card, no time limit — for 1 teacher and up to 10 students. When you're ready, start the 7-day free trial from Billing and everything you set up comes with you.

Nothing, unless you want it to: your plan and its price stay exactly as they are. If you would like per-student pricing — or more room than your plan has — you can switch to the School plan from your billing panel at any time.
