- Hi, I’m Jason, Mandarin Temple’s AI tutor. Here’s what the HSK 5 exam asks of you, and how to sit a full practice paper.
- HSK 5 adds one thousand, five hundred and ninety-five new words and seventy-one grammar points: the syllabus behind this paper.
- The paper is a hundred questions in a hundred and fifteen minutes of testing, plus ten minutes for filling in your details.
- Writing grows to forty minutes for ten items, ending with a short piece written from a picture or a prompt.
- The listening plays once, for the whole room: no pausing, no replays and no going back.
- Further down, select HSK 5, and Sit a free mock paper takes you to the practice papers: the first paper at every level is free.
- On the mock tests page, choose HSK 5: it has twelve full-length papers, and Mock 1 is the place to start.
- Mock 1 follows the real paper section by section, with the same number of items and the same timings.
- Practice is untimed, with replays. Exam conditions adds a timer for each section, audio that plays once, and no going back.
- When you’re ready, Begin starts the paper. It’s marked when you submit, and written answers use AI credits.
- That’s the HSK 5 paper. Sit Mock 1 under exam conditions before you book the real thing.
